| Packed Crowd Hears Future Plans of Edgewater Business Community
EDGEWATER - The Edgewater Business Alliance’s kickoff luncheon on March 14 was a huge success. There were approximately 140 people in attendance, including a good cross section of Edgewater and surrounding area businesses and several public officials. Critical to the EBA’s mission is to follow up this success with concerted action. To do this, the Alliance is concentrating on the following:
Membership:
If you are not yet a member and want to participate, please join by sending in your membership application and a check. Dues are now pro-rated from April 1 to December 31 at $112.50. You can register on-line at www.edgewaterbusinessalliance.com or by calling for an application. The Alliance urges fellow businesses to join and invites them to the next membership meeting.

Attendance:
The EBA will be holding monthly membership meetings on the second Thursday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at the Edgewater Community Center. In addition, the Alliance plans bigger quarterly events such as its kick-off luncheon. At the monthly meetings, EBA business will be conducted. There will be networking opportunities and individual presentations and speakers as well. All local businesses are encouraged to attend. The next meeting is Thursday, April 11. At this meeting, Chris Rosica and Angela Crawford of Rosica, Mulhern Inc. Public Relations will speak on “What is Public Relations and What Can it Do for your Business.”
